Along with presenting two papers, An Investigation of Buried Pipe Outer Heat Transfer Coefficient Correlations and A comparison of 43 gas-liquid point models in a low-liquid loading subsea gas line: A technology classification effort, Pablo Adames from the Calgary office was also a Session Chairperson at the 10th North American BHR Conference on Multiphase 2016 that was held June 8-10 in Banff, AB.
The VMG Calgary office came together to raise funds to help support our neighbours in Fort McMurray after severe wildfires led to the evacuation of its residents and caused widespread damage.
Donations to the Red Cross to help the families impacted by the fires can be made here.
Maria Wulandari from the VMG Europe office taught a 2.5 day VMGSim intensive course in Barcelona, Spain in June. The course was organised by the AIChE Student Chapter from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia.
15 students learned about VMGSim Steady State and VMGSim Dynamics and completed a Column Design and Depressuring exercise at the end of the course.
